    This past weekend, our very own resident artist, Dionn, brought vibrant energy to downtown Harrisburg by participating in the city’s “Paint the Planters” contest during ArtsFest. As one of four local artists selected, Dionn transformed a sidewalk planter into a colorful masterpiece, contributing to a public art initiative that turns everyday city spaces into a gallery of creativity.

    Dionn’s involvement not only showcased their artistic talent but also highlighted our studio’s commitment to community engagement and public art. Their work was featured in a FOX43 news segment, bringing well-deserved recognition to their efforts.

    Sept 7th: Tuileries Garden Impressionism Class

    Join Natalie Dohman for an Impressionism Plein Air Painting Class in the Heart of Paris!

    Nestled in the iconic Tuileries Gardens, where the Olympic Cauldron was lit, Natalie Dohman—founder and owner of nDesign Art Haus—will be hosting an exciting Impressionism Plein Air class!

    In this class, you’ll explore the fundamentals of Impressionism, capturing the essence of a person, place, or object, and Plein Air, the technique of painting outdoors with natural light as your guide. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to paint quickly and authentically what you see, this is your opportunity!

    Natalie will be demonstrating with acrylics, but you’re welcome to use watercolors or oils. Some techniques will apply across all mediums. She will start by teaching the art of underpainting, followed by the layering process to bring your artwork to life.

    Class Details:

    • Fee: $60
    • A link will be sent upon registration to access the live session.
